Amber is flowing tree resin that has fossilised and hardened over a period of time...in this case millions of years. when polished it reveals a gem like look, inside the Amber can be found inclusions such as insects and plant matter that can give us a detailed insight into the particular geological time. Burmese Amber is extremely sought after, with its age dating back to the Cretaceous makes this Amber and its inclusions one of the most observed and studied and is classed as one of the most scientifically important fossil kind.
