This fossil is superbly detailed with stomach contents of a smaller fish visible in the stomach. Contents of stomach show back bone and tail fin of a smaller fish. This is a large fossil with the fish measuring approximately 8 inches, full grown adults estimated at 10 inches. This fossil is complete without breaks or repairs and the matrix is intact. This species of ray finned fish is clearly predatory with a slender body for quick movement through the waters.

This fossil was located in Lebanon, Hakel, Byblos, Sannine formation.

Size- could reach upto lengths of 10 inches approx

Diet- predatory fish, smaller fish

Habitat- Lakes and freshwater streams

Where found- Lebanon, England.

Time- Cretaceous- approx 98 million years ago
