These little starfish date back to the Ordovician period, the second part of the Paleozoic approximately 280 million years ago. 
This Fossil starfish was found in Draa valley, Morocco.

Although a fairly common fossil to find and purchase, they are no so common fully formed and complete.

A lovely fossil of this type with nice natural colour and detail situated on a nice size piece of natural matrix. This fossil also has a few smaller unidentified fossils.
