This is lovely chunky tooth from this iconic Dinosaur, some hairline fractures professionally strengthened and some feeding wear present. Good enamel coverage and in areas some very nice denticle detail.

Carcharodontosaurus was a ferocious theropod that lived in what is now known as Africa during the Cretacious period between 145-72.1 million years ago. There are two known species, Sahaicus and Iguidensis which are both among the largest of the theropods, nearly , or even larger than that of the Tyrannosaurus rex, but equally as fearsome and terrifying. From fossil remains Carcharodontosaurus was estimated to measure 12-14 metres in length and weigh approx between 6 and 15 tonnes.
