A lovely ‘D’ shaped tooth, no feeding wear and superb serrations. Measurements- approx 45mmx 25mm at the longest points ( approx 2.5inches long)

This is a lovely D shaped tooth with nice enamel coverage, no feeding wear to this tooth and the serrations to both the Mesial and Distal edges are nice and clear.
Carcharodontosaurus was a ferocious theropod that lived in what is now known as Africa during the Cretacious period between 145-72.1 million years ago. There are two known species, Sahaicus and Iguidensis which are both among the largest of the theropods, nearly , or even larger than that of the Tyrannosaurus rex, but equally as fearsome and terrifying. From fossil remains Carcharodontosaurus was estimated to measure 12-14 metres in length and weigh approx between 6 and 15 tonnes.
