This is perfect fossil of this rare specimen of a Cretaceous Grasshopper species known as Cratoelcana cf. zessini. This type of fossil is a fairly rare find and with such detail. This fossil was found at Santana Formation, Nova Olinda, Ceara, Araripe Basin, Brazil, South America. These fossils date back to the Cretaceous age approximately 120 million years.
